Problem Window
This is the “problem” window – notice that the radiator sticks out a good 18 inches past the left end of the window. On the right end the radiator ends about 18 inches before the end of the window (all to deal with the stairs).

I suggest Plantation Shutters rather than curtains. The woodwork is so striking it would be a shame to cover it!
