Shots of my new apartment
Front (top two stories)

This is the front of my unit – I left out the boring lower bit as it contains only the garage doors and my front door.
Front Door

This is the front door – whee!
The Stairs

Don’t fall down them – please!
The Kitchen

I just love the color of the cabinets. I have also been informed that my liquor collection will NOT be displayed along the top of the cabinets. Oh, well…
More of the Kitchen

Living Room

A shot of the living room and the entrance to the alleged balcony.
Fireplace

Look closely and you will notice that this is a real fireplace – no fake fires with switches for me this time!
Living Room

Looking back into the kitchen – drinks will be served through this window sometimes.
Living Room

Looking away from the fireplace toward the stairs to the third floor.
Dining Room

Not much to see here but a window.
Bathroom Lights

The only thing I could get a picture of in the downstairs bathroom was the top of the mirror and the light fixture. Cool, nonetheless…
Third Floor Stairs

The stairs up to the third floor (bedroom, office, bathroom). Again, please don’t trip.
Upstairs Hallway

Another bookcase in the hallway.
Office

The office is not large and is hard to get a shot of. This is the window I will probably put my desk in front of.
Office

And the far wall of the office – with numerous corners and a tiny little window that Zaphod will love.
Master Bedroom

The window end.
Master Bedroom

The bathroom end. The bedroom is big enough to hold my bookshelves and a nice, squooshy chair.
Upstairs Bathroom

Yep – it’s a bathroom.
Front

Another view of the front of my place.
Ellis Street

The view North from my place – up Ellis Street.
Ellis Street

And the view down Ellis Street – roughly toward Deep Ellum.
Floor Plan

And this is the floor plan. My unit is a bit different as there are windows along the right-hand side (the stair side) and a couple of bump-outs that provide more room (and cost me a hideous amount of extra money). Then again, I also get a street view for Zaphod – and he is worth it, right?
Works out to about 1250 square feet, give or take.
